Privacy Policy

We only collect and store the following:

• Wallet address - your public Ethereum/Base address. This is required to authenticate you, sign transactions, and persist your game progress, inventory, ships, energy, and other on-platform state.
• Optional nickname - if you choose to set one (3-24 characters). Nicknames are stored to display in leaderboards and multiplayer features.
• Standard server logs - our hosting infrastructure automatically records technical details such as IP address, user-agent, request path, and timestamps for security, abuse prevention, and operational monitoring. We do not actively profile users from these logs.
• Session cookie - after wallet sign-in, we set a short-lived HTTP-only, secure JWT cookie so you stay logged in. The cookie contains no personal data beyond your wallet address.
• Anonymous traffic analytics - our hosting infrastructure provides aggregated, privacy-friendly traffic metrics (such as pageviews, referrer, device type, and country) so we can understand which parts of the Service are used. These metrics are not tied to your wallet address, are not used for advertising, and do not track you across other websites.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, real-world identity documents, or payment card information. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking on the Service.

• To authenticate your wallet and maintain your session.
• To persist and serve your game state, inventory, and progress.
• To display your nickname or wallet address in multiplayer features (battles, leaderboards, broadcasts).
• To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, exploits, fraud, and security incidents.
• To meet legal obligations if and when they arise.

Blockchain transactions are public by design. When you migrate NFTs, mint ships, complete missions, or take any other on-chain action, that transaction - including your wallet address and the action taken - is permanently visible on Ethereum and/or Base and can be viewed by anyone using a public block explorer. We have no ability to remove on-chain data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. We share information only:

• With infrastructure providers strictly required to operate the Service (e.g., our hosting provider, database provider, RPC providers). These act as processors on our behalf.
• When required by law, court order, or to respond to a valid legal request.
• To investigate, prevent, or address suspected fraud, security issues, or violations of our Terms of Service.

We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in after wallet sign-in. It is HTTP-only, secure, and contains only an authentication token tied to your wallet address. The anonymous traffic analytics described in Section 01 do not rely on tracking cookies and do not identify you personally. We do not use advertising cookies. Because the session cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function, no separate consent banner is shown.

We retain your wallet-linked data for as long as the wallet remains active on the Service. Server logs are retained for a short rolling window (typically up to 30 days) as set by our hosting provider, then automatically rotated out.

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., the EU/EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. Because our data is keyed to your wallet address, requests must be made from the wallet in question or accompanied by a signed message proving control. Deletion will also wipe associated game progress, which cannot be restored. On-chain data cannot be deleted.

The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the Service, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet and credentials.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
